What is Gift Aid ?
As you may have heard, all donations made by UK taxpayers to
charities such as the Friends of Eritrea now attract Gift Aid Tax Relief.
For example, a donation of £10 allows us to claim an extra £2.80 (approx) of
tax from the Inland Revenue, and we can make a similar claim for any further donations you may make.
What to Do
* Read the Declaration below
* Select the Form
* Save and Print
* Fill in your name and address
* Sign and return it to the Address shown, or e-mail a copy to
When we receive the form we can claim the money from the Inland
Revenue under the Gift Aid scheme.

Declaration
I wish the Friends of Eritrea in the UK (Charity No. 1052161) to reclaim tax on all
donations
and Friends of Eritrea/UK subscriptions I have made since 6 April 2000 and all
donations
and subscriptions I make hereafter (see Note 2).
Note 1:Current deeds of covenant are treated as Gift Aid from 6 April 2000. Please sign
the Gift Aid Declaration Form to cover any donations you may make.
Note 2: Please notify us if you no longer pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax
equal to the tax we reclaim on your donation ( £0.28 for every £1 you give)
